Life Story

Maria Teresa Fernandes was born on 3 May 1949 in Durban, the eldest of four. For thirty-eight years she kept the books of the parish and the peace of her street, and her koeksisters ended more arguments than the committee ever did.

She is survived by her husband Manuel, their children Carlos, Sofia and Isabel, and seven grandchildren who learned their prayers and their card games at her kitchen table.

Printing this design

A warm parchment wash with deep red accents and hairline rules. Ink coverage is low, so cost is close to a plain document, but the hairlines are genuinely fine and a worn photocopier will break them into dashes. Print this one properly.
